L'Ours
Bleu
A chalet run with heart, on the sunny slopes of Les Diablerets — a place apart, where time slows down, simply.
Not a hotel.
A home, open to you.
We are Arlette and Philippe, and L'Ours Bleu is first and foremost our home: a chalet on the sunny slopes of Les Diablerets, facing the glacier and the mountains.
It all began with a simple desire to share what we hold most dear: this place, this view, and the pleasure of welcoming guests. Three rooms, no more. Just enough to receive with care, without losing sight of what matters.
We imagined it as a living home, where you simply feel good. And then there are those spontaneous moments — a hiking tip, a conversation that lingers, or a shared glass of wine.
Dogs have always been part of our story. To this day, they are welcome, and it is not uncommon to meet one passing through the chalet.

We were welcomed warmly, without fuss and in complete peace. The hosts were attentive to every detail — we never wanted to leave.— Tripadvisor traveller · 5/5
We felt right at home, with the tranquillity of Les Diablerets all around.— Yves, Switzerland
The view is stunning! […] the hosts are incredibly attentive.— Rachel, Switzerland
Full south,
facing the summits.
An exceptional terrace, south-facing over Les Diablerets — perfect for breakfast in the sun and aperitifs at altitude.
Three rooms, three characters.
La Quille
du Diable
Named after the legendary peak of Les Diablerets, where, legend has it, demons would play skittles on stormy nights.
Bathed in light from morning to evening. Facing south-east, it enjoys sunshine throughout the day. A generous space, open to the Alps, with a private balcony.
La
Bitter
Named after the Bitter des Diablerets, a local liqueur made from mountain plants and roots.
A cosy, warm atmosphere. With its south-west balcony and late afternoon light, it offers an intimate and comfortable setting, ideal for a couples' retreat.
Les
Diablotins
Named after the mischievous little spirits who, according to legend, once animated the nights of Les Diablerets.
Simple, cosy and restful. A more discreet room, designed for those seeking calm and simplicity, in a peaceful atmosphere at the heart of the chalet.
La
Diablotine
Named after the world of Les Diablerets, a nod to its more intimate size.
A simple, independent sleeping space.
Designed as an extra bed, it complements one of our main rooms and allows everyone their own privacy. The ideal solution without stretching the budget.
Available as a supplement to any of our rooms — contact us directly.
